Inango Systems announces the release of Inango Toolbox, a suite of integrated software development tools enabling companies to speed up their software development process to drive faster time to market while keeping tight control on features, versions, work tasks and their statuses.
Inango Toolbox covers all aspects of the software development cycle, from design, bug and feature tracking, code reviews, version control to continuous integration. The tools are integrated via scripts and add-ons developed by Inango Systems. They may be used for internal development teams as well as for external partners or customers to track issues that are of interest to them.
Inango has released a cross-referencing layer for Yocto systems. The code is free and available from git.inango.com (you will be asked to register) and may be downloaded from the following location:
The cross-reference layer is added to your Yocto build system and automatically generates ctags (or cscope) files for each package and the entire distro. The ctags file may then be used with editors such as vi, vim, emacs and others.
This layer is part of Inango’s on-going efforts to create valuable and time-saving tools for Yocto developers. Our current tools already include a Yocto validation tool (ZIKIT) and development editor (YDE) – with a roadmap that will include much more. Please contact us for further details.
You can watch our short demonstration movie on the cross-reference layer here.
Inango Systems announces the launch of their ZIKIT Yocto Test Suite, a fully automated test platform that analyzes and performs consistency checks on large Yocto systems. The ZIKIT Yocto platform is intended for use by each programmer at their desktop, as well as by build engineering / quality assurance later in the development flow. It is particularly suited to complex systems supporting numerous configurations and containing code from many internal contributors and code from external suppliers.
Inango Systems today released an update to their G.fast distribution point unit (DPU) software solution to support the Sckipio Technologies single-port DPU reference design. In the single-port configuration, the Inango DPU software manages the G.fast interfaces while working with the existing GPON management (OMCI) services to minimize the effort required to deploy these systems. The single-port version of the G.fast DPU Software is a small, ultraportable package that can be run either from within the OEM device or on an external server where the OEM delivers a processor-less single-port DPU design.
Inango Systems announces the availability of Fast-PMA, their Persistent Management Agent (PMA) Software Suite, for carriers deploying high speed Gigabit services over G.fast and G.hn networks. Implemented in the OpenDaylight framework, Fast-PMA provides scalability, flexibility, multivendor interoperability and fully implements the latest standards as defined by the Broadband Forum. The product supports multiple north-bound interface management schemes including SNMP, Netconf or RestAPI allowing carriers to deploy a mix of DPU products. Carriers can also integrate an add-on product to “compile” Yang data models into SNMP MIBs where the NMS uses one management scheme and the DPUs another.
Building upon their industry leading software-to-silicon solutions, Inango Systems today released the Inango Linux Distribution for the Ethernity Networks’ G.fast Fabric Flow Processor. The Inango source code software provides OEMs with a complete Linux Distribution which enables faster time to market at a lower cost of development, a true win-win for OEMs. “OEMs will have the choice of using our Linux Distribution across a wide range of networking applications, or combining it with our fully functional G.fast DPU Software providing extensive management capabilities and the highest throughput available,” stated Jonathan Masel, Inango Systems CEO.
